The fine line between speech and silence

Sometimes I regret some words and also some silence.
» Regret over words is a feeling that accompanies a person when he is hasty in saying what he shouldn't, hurting others or revealing what should have been hidden.
One word can ruin a relationship or create a deep, unhealed wound. While silence gives a person the opportunity to think and consider before taking a position or responding;but sometimes silence is interpreted as weakness, satisfaction, or disinterest. A person may lose his right if he does not express it or defend himself.

•Most of the time regret over words is common, but regret over silence is rare.

•» Which brings us to the golden question🔅
"How can we know when it is the right time to speak or be silent ?"

~These are basic points that will determine which direction you should go in.
" Speak up if "
» Your words are useful or provide correct information.
» You want to defend yourself or the truth.
» Your words will comfort or please others.
» You have been asked for an honest opinion or advice.
" Remain silent if "
» You are angry or extremely emotional.
» You feel your words will be hurtful or inappropriate.
» You are unsure of the truth of the information.
» You have found that silence will preserve your dignity and peace of mind.

 ༺Golden rule༻
" If your words are more beautiful than your silence, speak. If not, keep quiet".
